Jeweliste (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the jeweliste.com website. We respect your privacy and collect only the data we need to run the site and improve it. We do not sell personal data.

We collect minimal data necessary to operate:

• Email address (when you subscribe to the newsletter)
• Usage data, anonymous analytics: page views, tool usage, referral source
• Cookies for site functionality and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies

We do not collect payment information, detailed personal profiles, or any data beyond what is listed here.

• To send the newsletter you subscribed to
• To improve content and tools based on aggregate usage
• To measure advertising effectiveness (with consent)
• To maintain site security and prevent abuse

We use four categories of cookies. Essential cookies are always active. Analytics, advertising, and personalization cookies require your consent and can be managed through the consent banner or your browser settings.

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics for traffic measurement. Scripts load via Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics cookies are blocked until you grant consent.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement. Only loads when advertising consent is granted.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights for performance monitoring. No personally identifiable data is collected.
• Resend for newsletter delivery. Receives only the email address you provide.
• Supabase for database and authentication.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 so your privacy choices are respected. All Google services default to “denied” on page load. When you accept analytics or advertising cookies, your choice is sent to Google as a consent update. This approach is compliant with EU ePrivacy regulations and GDPR.

We use HTTPS for all connections, apply Content Security Policy headers, and follow security best practices. Access to user data is limited to essential operations.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (via the consent banner)
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Legal basis for processing: Consent (analytics, advertising), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention), and contract performance (newsletter delivery to subscribers).

Data retention: Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. Consent records are stored for 1 year.

International transfers: Some data may be processed in the United States by our service providers (Google, Vercel, Supabase). These transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store only your email address. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not share subscriber lists with third parties. No GDPR consent checkbox is required because the subscription form constitutes an affirmative opt-in action.

Calculations made with our tools (gold price, diamond estimator, ring size converter, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. No input data is sent to our servers or stored.
